Residents made appointments ahead of time to get their vaccines at the Cooper County mass vaccination clinic Monday and Tuesday at the Isle of Capri Casino Hotel in Boonville.

MoDOT says it has selected four teams to compete for a contract to design and build a new Missouri River Bridge on Interstate 70 near Rocheport.Â
The teams each include several consulting and contracting companies. MoDOT says it chose the four teams based on statements of qualification.

Construction is set to begin in late 2021 for what is known as the lynchpin of America . The I-70 Rocheport Bridge replacement is one step closer to construction. It is one of 53 bridges over water in the state of Missouri.
It s becoming less common to see continuous truss construction bridges when they used to be all over the country. The deconstruction is set to begin later this year; it will be a three-year process to get the new bridge built.
It is unlikely there will be any new continuous truss bridge anytime soon. The I-64 bridge over the Missouri River in Chesterfield was renovated, but only half was rebuilt; the other half remains.Â
