Lockdown SoCal Cruise Draws Hundreds of Hot Rods! - Gallery Steven Rupp POL s eighth cruise through Southern California was bigger and better than ever! Late in 2020 the gearheads over at Performance Online (POL) started to get California cabin fever from the ongoing quarantine lockdown there. Even worse, they were dying to drive their cars that had been idle during the ruined car event season. His 1939 Chevrolet Master DeLuxe sedan makes a good example. Each time Sonny builds it, he knocks it further out of the park. Social Distance Shop Tour: Jason Scudellari and his 1949 Chevy Pickup

Rear Suspension For Early Hot Rods

Rear Suspension For Early Hot Rods Kevin Elliott © Hot Rod Network Staff 001-hot-rod-rear-suspension Explaining Ladder Bars, Four-Bars, Leaf Springs, and More and Choosing the Best Set-Up For Your Tradtional Hot Rod Rear suspension technology has come a long way, but for many hot rodders with a taste for traditional style, the old ways are the way to go. At one time, pretty much the only modification hot rodders made to their rear suspension was to add longer shackles to lower the rear on a transverse leaf-sprung Ford, or throw a set of lowering blocks between the axle and leaf springs on a Chevy or other car with parallel springs.
