Sean Middleton was sitting in his car at a stoplight on Kalakaua Avenue on April 5 when he heard gunfire. Honolulu police officers were shooting at a stolen white Honda Accord filled with six suspects aged 14 to 22.

Durban - Efforts to repatriate the body of Lindani Myeni who was shot and killed by officers from the Honolulu police department in Hawaii, US, on Wednesday night are under way.
A GoFundMe account – with a target of over R1 million to take care of body’s transportation back to his hometown Esikhaleni, near Richards Bay, funeral costs and possible legal fees – was created on Friday by close friends and family.
Myeni, 29, a mechanical engineer and former professional rugby player who had a green card interview scheduled for next week, was living on the island with his American wife Lindsay and their two young children.

The shooting took place during an apparent home invasion incident in Nuuanu
Police said the black man, who lived nearby, had followed a woman into her home, took off his shoes and exhibited odd behavior
The cops fired four shots at Myeni and he was taken to hospital where he died

HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - HPD released body cam footage Friday of a fatal police shooting of an unarmed man in Nuuanu, saying the two videos ― each less than a minute long ― show that officers were in a “fight for their lives” and justified in discharging their weapons.
But the videos could also raise more questions for the community, including why two responding officers didn’t identify themselves as police until after a Taser was deployed and multiple rounds fired.

DURBAN - Hawaii police have been urged to release body cam footage following the fatal shooting of KwaZulu-Natal rugby star, Lindani Myeni.
Myeni lived in Hawaii with his wife and their two children.
He was reportedly shot dead by police following an apparent scuffle following a report of a robbery at a home in the area.
Hawaii News Now reported that Myeni was shot multiple times after he punched officers.
According to the report, on Wednesday, officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a home in Nuuanu. The person who made the 911 call, said a man was sitting in a vehicle parked nearby and identified him as the suspect. The caller said the man had been exhibiting strange behaviour.
