Police have found $186,000 worth of cash stuffed inside a mattress after a dramatic raid on a home in Mackay in central Queensland on Saturday. Six people have been charged after the search.
Police have been captured pulling thousands of dollars in cash out of a north Queensland mattress following a major drug raid that saw six people arrested this past weekend.
Officers from Mackay raided the Landsdowne Road, West Mackay home on Sunday, allegedly seizing drugs, a car and more than $180,000 in cash.
Bodycam footage from the raid has shown officers discovering a hole in a mattress in one of the beds. They pull out an air-sealed bag of money.

The video then shows several other bags inside the mattress, adding to a total of $186,000 found in the raid.

All four were arrested after a short foot pursuit, just before 9pm. Police allege the car was stolen from a Benowa residence over the Easter long weekend, on Saturday, April 3. The 18-year-old Labrador woman has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
