The Dixie Fire continues to burn in Plumas and Butte counties, and areas of Lassen and Tehama counties.
The fire was sparked around 5:15 p.m. July 13 in the Lassen National Forest.
A number of residents in Butte, Plumas and Tehama counties are under evacuation orders and warnings. The blaze has closed parts of Lassen National Forest and Plumas National Forest, and knocked out power in parts of Lassen County.

Firefighters are battling the Dixie Fire, burning in Plumas and Butte counties, and threatening areas of Lassen and Tehama counties.
The fire was sparked around 5:15 p.m. July 13 in the Lassen National Forest and has prompted evacuations in Butte, Plumas and Tehama counties. The fire also closed parts of the Lassen National Forest and Plumas National Forest.
Causes of the Dixie Fire and adjoining Fly Fire are under investigation, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.
