Just as he was getting out Friday, Chatham-Kent police arrested and charged him with multiple offences. The charges include possession of stolen property with a value more than $5,000, flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, mischief with a value less than $5,000, and failure to comply with release.

“And that there will be consequences,” the Sarnia judge said Friday.
The court heard two guards tried moving Walker to an isolated area of the Christina Street North jail around 11 a.m. on Christmas Eve after he started causing a scene in his cell. During the move Walker threatened to “knock out” one of the guards. He also initially flouted COVID-19 protocols by refusing to wear a mask.
The staff eventually brought him to a private room, but another inmate was there so a guard placed her arm against Walker’s back to keep him from “engaging” with the other person. Walker used vulgar language while telling the guard to not touch him.
