Lewiston native Isaiah Harris finished in second in the men’s 800-meter run at Oregon Relays at Hayward Field on Saturday. Harris, a Nike-sponsored runner, faced a strong field of athletes on a track that was the scene of many fast times earlier in the day. The former Lewiston great finished in 1 minute, 46.92 seconds, just behind winner Michael Saruni, who finished in 1:46.64. Harris stuck with the lead pack and ran the first 200 meters  in 25.5 seconds. Harris finished the first lap at 53 seconds, and was in second place behind Sam Ellison, who led for most of the race.
