President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday announced an offer of automatic employment to 110 former members of National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, in the Federal Civil Service.
The President, who also offered scholarships to the ex-corps members for the pursuit of postgraduate studies up to a doctoral level in any university in Nigeria directed the relevant government agencies to ensure timely implementation of all the incentives for the award recipients.
This is as one of the beneficiaries of the automatic employment, Miss Jane Agbo, who graduated from the Federal School of Dental Technology and Therapy, Enugu but did her primary assignment at Dental Center, Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, ABUTH, Tudun Wada Zaria, said that she rendered free health care services to 2000 Almajiris and 750 elderly people during her service.

President Muhammadu Buhari has offered automatic employment to 110 ex-National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members in the Federal Civil Service and scholarships for the pursuit of post-graduate studies up to the doctoral level in any university in Nigeria.
He made the offer, on Thursday, while speaking at the virtual 2018/2019 President’s NYSC honours award ceremony held at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja.
The president also announced cash rewards for the ex- corps members.
A statement issued by Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity) informed that Buhari directed the relevant government agencies to ensure timely implementation of all the incentives for the award recipients.
