UFC flyweights Maryna Moroz and Luana Carolina will collide inside the octagon at a UFC Fight Night show on Oct. 16 in Las Vegas, multiple people with knowledge of the booking told MMA Fighting following an initial report from Combate.
The UFC has yet to officially announce the event and its headlining attraction.
Moroz (10-3) is looking for her third straight victory as a UFC flyweight following decisions over Sabina Mazo and Mayra Bueno Silva in 2019 and 2020, respectively.
“Iron Lady” moved up a division after going 3-3 as a strawweight in the company, capped off by consecutive defeats to top-ranked 115-pounders Angela Hill and Carla Esparza.
