Our Good News of the Day from the Branch County Community Foundation:
This week, The Wendorf Family Fund, a Donor Advised fund held at the Branch County Community Foundation, granted a total of $17,662 to Quincy Community Schools for Wi-Fi hotspots and classroom materials.
This particular collaboration between the Donor, the Branch County Community Foundation and Quincy Community Schools is an excellent example of how the Branch County Community Foundation works to connect passionate people and resources to serve the community we love. The Wendorf Family Fund was interested in hearing how they were able to help with any needs of Quincy students, especially with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Community Foundation had knowledge of some needs after talking with a Quincy School Board Member, Erin Veysey.
