The 41-year-old Mark Paul allegedly raped a minor in Alexandria in December of 2019. Less than 24 hours after his photograph went viral on social media, Paul, himself, called the investigating officer promising to meet with police in Gqeberha on Monday. Police spokesperson Captain Mali Govender says he never showed up and is still on the run.
