The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge boast some of the most popular Instagram posts across the Royal Family s accounts this year, it has emerged.
Prince William and Kate, both 38, who share their photographs on the Kensington Royal page, secured the two top liked snaps in 2020, according to Twitter account Gert s Royals.
The first shows the duke and their three children, Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, five, and Prince Louis, two, sitting together on a swing in their garden at Anmer Hall, Norfolk, to celebrate Prince William s birthday and it received 2.4million likes.
Meanwhile, the young Cambridges clapping for NHS workers in the first lockdown gained 2million likes - showing just how popular Kate s candid photographs and footage is with royal fans.

William and Kate are the most popular royals when it comes to Instagram likes, it s been revealed.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who share their snaps on the Kensington Royal Instagram page, took out the two top spots for the most liked royal photos of 2020, according to Twitter account Gert s Royals.
Prince William s birthday snap featuring the couple s three young children George, Charlotte and Louis was the most liked photo of 2020, reports the Daily Mail.
Royals fans have been sent into a frenzy over Prince Louis striking resemblance to Kate Middleton s father, Michael.
Taking to Kensington Palace Instagram, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, both 38, shared adorable photos of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and two-year-old Prince Louis as they joined them on the royal red carpet for a trip to the pantomime in London s West End.
The youngsters were taken by William and Kate to a special pantomime performance at The London Palladium, hosted by The National Lottery, which was held to thank key workers and their families for their phenomenal efforts this year.
But royal fans couldn t help but notice the striking similarity between Prince Louis and his grandfather, Michael, 71.
