Vincent Barr: Niece of missing Glasgow man makes desperate appeal to find him

THE family of a missing man have made a desperate appeal following his out of character disappearance.  Vincent Barr, also known as Vinny or Bardo, was last seen walking across the squiggly Tradeston bridge in the city centre at around 9.10pm on Friday, September 18. He was believed to be returning to the Travel Lodge he had been residing at on Paisley Road.  Months after he was last seen, Vincent s niece, Jennifer Barr, has made a fresh and desperate appeal to find him.  She said: We ve not seen or heard from him since September. This is so unlike him, he wouldn t put his family through this. The police are reviewing his case every other month as they have no leads.

But for the organisers of the recently launched Nurture Nature campaign, they want people to look at the issue beyond the surface and understand it is much more complex. For this to happen, they’ll first like people to use the phrase “harmful wildlife trade” instead of “illegal wildlife trade.”
