The team of Katteri had announced that their film would hit screens for Christmas, but postponed the release over concerns of a second wave of COVID-19 hitting the country. Deekay, who’s directed the horror comedy, says, “There were talks of a second wave of the virus. The public should be safe. And I was also worried that if theatres were shut down again, it would affect us all. We have worked really hard on this film and all the efforts that the technicians and actors have put in should not go waste. So, we decided to wait it out. Now, vaccination has also come. We are just waiting for a suitable date now.”
