Members of the public service union UNISON are calling for ‘a decent pay rise’ for all NHS workers.
UNISON area organiser Mick Moriarty described the Government’s current offer of a one per cent increase as ‘a slap in the face’ and said all NHS staff deserved a pay rise of at least £2,000,
He said health staff were ‘frustrated and angry’ at the offer after their hard work over the past year during the coronavirus pandemic.
