It didnât turn out that way because, shortly after I submitted Part 1 for publication, I called Guido Marini in Toronto. Guido Marini, the son of Italian immigrant parents, was born in Wallaceburg in 1929. He got his first full-time job at the Toronto Dominion (TD) Bank at the corner of James and Duncan streets in Wallaceburg. That first job was his first step on a banking career that took Guido to a vice-presidency at the TD Bank.
