The second instalment in CC:DISCO!’s ‘First Light’ compilation series offers listeners an open invitation to discover prolific upcoming and unsung talents not only from Australia, but from across the globe in Russia, Japan, Zambia, Spain, Sweden, Indonesia, US, Canada and beyond. 24 exclusive tracks, and an eclectic journey which explore the scopes of jazz, Balearic, disco, house, trance and techno, affirming her status as a dedicated tastemaker.

With sets from the likes of DJ JNETT, Elle Shimada, College of Knowledge, Sophie McAlister and loads more.
Melbourne Recital Centre has joined forces with Crown Ruler to bring three months of live music to Southbank. Titled Sweet Summer Suite, the series will showcase some of Melbourne’s freshest and finest DJs with weekly sets in Melbourne Recital Centre’s brand new Forecourt.
Launched on Thursday January 14, the series will run until Saturday March 27, featuring two shows every week on Thursdays and Saturdays.

I wrote that when I was thirteen-years old and now just shy of 5 decades, it’s still my guiding light / principle. It’s been a long four weeks. And the last two days may have taken its toll on a lot of folks. No matter which side of the political pool you swim on, the water has become murky.
I’m not a fan of politics. Just as oil and water, they don’t mix. However, last year was a year of polarization. And my heart goes out to anyone who feels pain.
