Protocols to Curtail Spread of COVID-19 Extended

FOLLOWING recommendations from the Command Centre, the Government of Saint Lucia has extended COVID-19 Prevention and Control Protocols to May 30th 2021.
Government is currently monitoring the situation regarding the spread of COVID-19 and notes that over the last week the island had registered an increase in the number of active cases.
The following protocols also remain:
• The curfew remains from 9:00PM to 4:00AM daily.
• WORK FROM HOME AND REDUCED CONTACT MEETINGS
All agencies and businesses will continue to implement a Blended Service/ Operations Approach where possible for the employees.

Existing COVID-19 Prevention and Control Protocols Extended until February 16th

PRESS RELEASE As the Government of Saint Lucia continues to manage the COVID-19 pandemic and further contain the spread of the virus, the current protocols and measures have been extended until Tuesday 16th February 2021.
The restriction on
the sale of alcohol has also been extended until Wednesday 24th February 2021.
As per the decision by the Parliament of Saint Lucia, the State of Emergency (SOE) is extended until May 16th 2021; with a curfew from 7:00 pm to 5:00 am. Please note the SOE and curfew can be reviewed, amended or discontinued pursuant to regulations by the Governor General.
