When Lenovo refreshed its ThinkPad X1 family back in January, it added a new ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga to its lineup. Honestly, at the time, I didn t know that I should be so excited about it. Sure, it s a ThinkPad X1 Yoga but with titanium materials and a 3:2 screen, right?
But it s so much more than that. This thing is an absolute delight and has quickly become my favorite convertible. In fact, this is part of a larger family of devices from Lenovo that includes the new ThinkPad X1 Nano and the ThinkPad X12 Detachable. For some reason, Lenovo is going all-in on PCs that are just impossibly light.

Here Comes Surface Laptop 4
All signs are pointing to a virtual Surface event sometime soon, and now Microsoft’s support website notes the existence of Surface Laptop 4. Which has not yet been formally announced.
The support pages were first spotted by Walking Cat on Twitter, as is so often the case, and they’re just placeholders for now. But they confirm that Surface Laptop 4 will come in both Intel and AMD variants, just like Surface Laptop 3. Rumors suggest that the AMD processors will be previous-generation Ryzen 4000 series chipsets, in keeping with the Surface team’s inability to embrace modern technology. But the Intel variants will presumably use 11th-generation Core processors.

There s more than one reason I m excited about the Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Detachable. The first was that when it was announced back in January, it was the first new ThinkPad tablet since 2018, back when there was a ThinkPad X1 Tablet. Yes, it s interesting to me that Lenovo brought back the form factor; after all, there was presumably a reason it was killed off in the first place.
The other thing that makes me excited is this new crop of ThinkPads that we have right now. The ThinkPad X1 Nano that I reviewed recently weighs in at under two pounds, and then the ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga does the same thing for convertibles.
