A Simcoe man is riding his bike to raise money for mental health programming.
Chris Kindy is taking part in the Canadian Mental Health Association’s Ride Don’t Hide campaign and has raised $4,135 to date, making him the top fundraiser in Canada.
Kindy, who works with Haldimand Norfolk Social Services as a case manager, and CMHA as a mental health worker, says it costs $330 for the CMHA to help one person, so he has set his goal at $10,000 to help around 30 people.
Kindy plans on riding 1,000 kilometres by the end of June.
