Gov Mike DeWine says more COVID-19 vaccine doses coming

Cincinnati Enquirer COLUMBUS – More COVID-19 vaccine doses are on their way to Ohio in the coming weeks, Gov. Mike DeWine announced Thursday, but the state won t expand eligibility to new groups of residents for several weeks. Ohio has been inoculating residents age 70 and older, a pool that expands next week to 65 and older, as well as teachers and people with disabilities and severe congenital, developmental, or early-onset medical disorders. So Ohio will hold for several weeks to work through the group of 2.2 million people included in this phase. DeWine expects the number of doses Ohio gets each week to increase later this month and throughout March.
