Mount Prospect School District 57 has named former Lincoln Middle School principal Jason Kaiz as assistant superintendent of finance and operations, replacing Adam Parisi, who has accepted a position in another district.
Kaiz, who served as Lincoln principal from 2012 to 2016, is currently principal of Springman Middle School in Glenview District 34. He also has been an assistant principal in District 34 and has served as both assistant and interim business manager in Glencoe District 35.
Kaiz is certified as a Chief School Business Official (CSBO). He received his bachelor s in elementary education and master s in educational leadership from DePaul University.

District 57 names Lions Park assistant principal Danielle Dillon as next principal of Westbrook School, effective July 1

Mount Prospect School District 57 has named Danielle Dillon as the new principal of Westbrook School for Young Learners, effective July 1. She will replace Dr. Kristin Vonder Haar, who last month was named the District s new assistant superintendent of teaching and learning, replacing Dr. Mary Gorr. Gorr will become superintendent when Dr. Elaine Aumiller retires on July 1. Danielle is a skilled and dedicated educator and leader, according to Aumiller. She has done a wonderful job at Lions Park since taking on the critical role of assistant principal four years ago.

The Mount Prospect District 57 school board has named Mary Gorr as the district s next superintendent, effective July 1. She will replace Elaine Aumiller, who will retire after serving in the position for 12 years.
Gorr, who has been with District 57 since 2011, is currently assistant superintendent for teaching and learning. She served as principal of Westbrook School for Young Learners prior to that.
With help from educational search firm School Exec Connect, the school board led a search that attracted more than 40 qualified applicants, according to Eileen Kowalczyk, board president.

Mount Prospect School District 57 has named Dr. Kristin Vonder Haar, principal of Westbrook School for Young Learners, as the District s new assistant superintendent of teaching and learning, replacing Dr. Mary Gorr. Gorr will become superintendent when Dr. Elaine Aumiller retires on July 1. Dr. Vonder Haar has been a respected leader at Westbrook for the past two years, and assistant principal before that, and we re thankful for her many contributions there, Aumiller says. We feel she is the best candidate and well-equipped for this important district-wide position.
