On March 18, at 15:00, an online discussion “Academic Spaces of Future Universities,” dedicated to the 135th anniversary of St. Petersburg Electrotechnical University “LETI,” will take place. Proposal of such discussion was made by St. Petersburg Electrotechnical University and supported by the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in St. Petersburg and Nuffic Neso, the Netherlands Education Support Office.
During the discussion, experts from Russia, Netherlands, Italy, and Finland will discuss the effective use of public and educational spaces and creating a comfortable, inclusive, and motivating environment in the universities established in the 19th – 20th centuries.

Future Universities: Value for Changing Societies
University sectors in Australia and across the world are facing an inflection point in their future trajectories. The COVID-19 pandemic has undermined business models built on international student income, radically changed the student experience and upended norms of academic behaviour – particularly around conferences and travel. It has also exposed a range of long term fragilities and deep challenges for universities to navigate.
