Montgomery County off to a deadly start in 2021 with number of homicides
In each case, accused killer and victim knew each other By Dan Schere |

Montgomery County has recorded seven homicides this month nearly half of the total recorded in all of 2020.
Capt. Edward Pallas, the director of the department’s Major Crimes Division, said that of the seven homicide, four have been “domestic,” meaning the people involved either lived together or otherwise knew each other.
“I can say that in zero of the seven was it any type of stranger homicide. In other words, as far as public safety goes, we haven’t had one [this year] that’s been stranger on stranger,” he said.
