The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to withdraw cases filed against traders for allegedly violating COVID-related protocols.
An order has been issued in this regard on Thursday.
The order comes as a relief for those traders who were booked for minor offences during the lockdown.
The decision comes after a traders` organisation had recently met the law minister to withdraw the cases in this regard.

On the occasion of 71st foundation day of Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched Udyam Sarathi app to help youth to explore self-employment opportunities.
As per the government statement, this application will provide all information related to self-employment and the job industry at one click.
The app, prepared under the ODOP scheme and considered to be a master-key for exploring self-employment opportunities to the youth.
The Yogi Adityanath government will launch the Udyam Sarathi App on January 24 which will provide every information related to self-employment and the job industry at one click.The Chief Minister will unveil a high-tech platform for the youth .
