Feb 21, 2021 10:52 AM By: Community Submission   I Read Canadian Day is an annual celebration of the rich and diverse literature that has been written by Canadian authors. On Wednesday, February 17th, hundreds of classrooms, and thousands of Lakehead Public Schools students connected virtually with community members who shared their personal love of reading and read a story written by a Canadian author to the students board wide. Throughout the day, students continued to read together and followed up with several fun and engaging activities to share their love of reading.
