Members of the Ripon Police Department work to wrap gifts for families in need for the 24th annual Shop with Emergency Personnel event.  submitted photo Members of the Ripon Police Department, Ripon Area Fire District and Ripon Guardian Ambulance Service have been especially busy the last few weeks. On top of their normal responsibilities of responding to crises on a daily basis, they’ve been busy buying and wrapping presents for area families for the “Shop with Emergency Personnel” event. Local emergency service providers worked with the Ripon Area School District to identify families in need this holiday season. They received wish lists from each family and emergency personnel purchased the items from that list.
