Robert Lloyd Clifton, Jr., 42, of Heidelberg, PA, formerly of Wheeling, WV, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021, in Wheeling Hospital.
Bobby was born October 23, 1978, in Wheeling, a son of Clara Mae (Arnold) Clifton of Wheeling and the late Robert Clifton. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Chantel Clifton, and her husband Jason Clark of Wheeling; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling, Sunday, March 21, 2021, from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm.

Youth Services System Inc. (YSS) teamed up recently with the Wheeling Police Department to train law enforcement officers on how to respond to a person experiencing a mental health crisis.
The ultimate goal of the weeklong training at the Highlands Event Center, Wheeling Police Chief Shawn Schwertfeger said, is to save lives.
“There are too many tragedies occurring each year during encounters with persons experiencing mental health crises,” he said. “Crisis Intervention Team is a relevant training and significant way to alleviate those tragedies by educating and empowering officers to make a positive difference, not only in the communities but with the individuals.” ....

TRIADELPHIA Youth Services System Inc. joined the Wheeling Police Department to train law enforcement officers on how to respond to a person experiencing a mental health crisis.
The goal of the week-long Crisis Intervention Team training at the Highlands Event Center was to save lives, organizers said.
