The Young Explorers Club will have a virtual program on monarch butterflies at 11 a.m. March 20.
The club, sponsored by Morgan County Audubon Society and Jacksonville Public Library, is open to students of all ages.
During the free program, Ed Anderson will introduce participants to the lives of monarch butterflies, including their life cycle and how to attract them to one’s yard.
Preregistration for the program is available by contacting librarian Sarah Snyder at ssnyder@jaxpl.org or 217-243-5435. Registered participants will receive instructions the day before the program. Recordings of the programs also will be available to view afterward for those who can’t participate live.
