DEA task force raids Clairemont home

SAN DIEGO    An early morning raid at a Clairemont home Thursday turned up fentanyl, methamphetamine and PCP, a Drug Enforcement Administration agent said. Multiple people were detained after the raid on the home on Feather Avenue off Clairemont Drive, Special Agent Kameron Korte said. Four people two men and two women were arrested. The raid was the result of a search warrant served by special agents and DEA task force members. San Diego police shut down the street. Apparent murder-suicide under investigation in Lowell; Husband, wife in their 70s found dead, DA says Updated Feb 12, 2021; Authorities are investigating what they described as an apparent murder-suicide after a married couple in their 70s was found dead in their Lowell home Thursday afternoon. Police responded around 5 p.m. to a 911 call about a death at a home on Featherston Avenue, according to a statement from Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Lowell Police Superintendent Kelly Richardson. According to the statement, when officers arrived, they found a 76-year-old man shot dead and a 79-year-old woman with a fatal self-inflicted gunshot wound.
