Trying to survive within the savage world of Monster Hunter Rise is no easy task. The staggering number of monsters looking to tear you limb from limb would make anyone question their bravery. While having a good set of armor will keep you alive, you won t get far unless you have a powerful weapon to slay these beasts. Thankfully, there are 14 types of weapons to choose from and you can customize each of their movesets by swapping certain attacks to suit your playstyle.

Charge Blade, Hunting Horn Round out Final Weapon Updates for Monster Hunter Rise
It’s been a great week of new weapon videos, complete with tons of new information about the upcoming Monster Hunter title. Finally we get to the last two weapon videos which showcase fan favorite Charge Blade and Hunting Horn. Charge Blade takes on some powerful new combos, while Hunting Horn looks like a completely new aggressive weapon complete with its usual music to buff hunters with.
Take on Deadly Beasts with Switch Axe, Great Sword in Monster Hunter Rise
There are just four more weapons to show off for the Monster Hunter Rise videos, and today is another two of those. This time Capcom highlighted two more powerful bladed weapons; the Great Sword and Switch Axe. The Great Sword comes with some great new abilities thanks to the silkbind attacks, in addition to showing off its combo capabilities. Switch Axe returns as powerful as ever with tons more variety thanks to Rise’s updates.
Sword & Shield, Hammer take Center Stage in Latest Weapon Videos for Monster Hunter Rise
Day four of weapon reveals have brought two more updates for Monster Hunter Rise. This time around we get a closer look at the iconic Sword and Shield with it’s blunt companion, the Hammer. Sword and Shield brings a versatile moveset that can block light moves and take on enemies quickly, while Hammer will knock enemies over with strong hits either on the ground or with new special silkbind attacks.

Light, Heavy Bowguns take Center Stage in Latest Monster Hunter Rise Showcases
In the continued look at more weapons in Monster Hunter Rise Capcom takes us around to look at the last two ranged weapons. Heavy and Light Bowguns have always been extremely useful and versatile weapons offering either heavy damage or great elemental and status support. Now we finally get to check out their brand new abilities this time around and see them more in action.
