God’s Kids Korner: Sharing that ‘good fruit!’ By Ann Moody - God’s Kids Korner One of my favorite fruits to eat is grapes, but do you know how grapes are grown? Special farms called vineyards plant the grape seeds, and they grow on long and curly vines. If you look at a bunch of grapes, you can see a little of the vine and also the short branches that grow out from the vine. The fruit then forms at the end of these little branches. Looking at grapes reminds me of a Bible verse from John, Chapter 15, Verse 5. It says: “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit. Apart from Me, you can do nothing.”

Pets are lots of fun, but a big responsibility too. We have to make sure they have plenty of food and water. They need to be kept in a safe place that is clean, and if they get sick, we might have to take them to the veterinarian to get some medicine. Pets need love and attention, as well. They love us, and we love them.

God’s Kids Korner: The Domino Effect By Ann Moody - God’s Kids Korner You remember from our story last week about Thomas that Jesus appeared to the disciples several times after Easter. At first, the disciples were afraid. They thought they were seeing a ghost. Jesus told them not be afraid. He showed them the nail scars in His hands and feet and invited them to touch Him. “A ghost doesn’t have skin and bones as I do,” Jesus said to the disciples. He even ate a meal with them. When the disciples finally realized it was really Jesus and not a ghost, Jesus began to teach them. He explained that He had to suffer and die and rise from the dead on the third day to fulfill what was written in the Scripture. Then He told the disciples that they should spread His story to every nation of the world. (Luke 24: 36-49)
