KHULNA, Jan 24, 2021 (BSS) â Ultra Poor and landless people of Khulna got pleasant and expressed satisfaction after getting 3,225 new houses as a gift from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the Mujib Year (Mujib Barso) under the first phase of Asrayan-2 Project in Khulna division.
Talking to BSS, a number of âKaâ category beneficiary families of Dumuria upazila in Khulna district who got new houses with land ownership documents yesterday expressed happiness and conveyed heartfelt thanks to the Prime Minister .
Marginal Farmer Pachu Kazi, 65, and his wife Felani Khatun, 56, who got a new house at Kathalpara village of Atalia Union of Dumuria upazila, said they never thought that fortune would smile on them .

The Bihar government plans to alter the socio-economic dynamic of the state by attempting to provide jobs to beggars. The aim is to rid the state of beggars by providing them with a choice of a respectable profession, consequently enabling their absorption into the society.
The State Society for Ultra Poor and Some Welfare (SAKSHAM) SAKSHAM, is running the Bhikshavriti Niwaran Yojana - programme to eradicate the habit of begging - wherein beggars will be offered to become entrepreneurs or publicity managers for government programmes and schemes.
