CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. (AP) American Public Education Inc. (APEI) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $7.1 million.
The Charles Town, West Virginia-based company said it had profit of 47 cents per share.
The for-profit education company posted revenue of $85.9 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $18.8 million, or $1.25 per share. Revenue was reported as $321.8 million.
American Public Education shares have decreased almost 9% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $27.83, a climb of 29% in the last 12 months.
