The British actor’s final appearance as James Bond will finally be shown in theatres this October after the film was delayed for a third time due to the coronavirus pandemic. Craig, 52, portrayed secret agent 007 for the first time 15 years ago in Casino Royale and has regularly voiced his frustration with the iconic role. After No Time To Die’s release, Craig’s successor will be announced to front the 59-year-old franchise.

Of course, when the pandemic hit, No Time To Die was the first major spring blockbuster to lead the release date evacuation back to late 2020 or even 2021.
November came and it was all looking good for Bond, with an official podcast for the new film releasing its first episode.
However, with the second lockdown looming, EON Productions, MGM and Universal Pictures made the tough decision of delaying No Time To Die once again to April 2, 2020.
And now here we are again, this time in a third national lockdown, as Craig’s final mission as 007 is pushed back to October 2021.

Here we go yet again. While it’s yet to be officially announced, a fifth delay for Daniel Craig’s final James Bond movie is now looking extremely likely. With the pandemic on-going, even the 2020 releases that moved to 2021 are probably going to have to move again, especially if they’re set to arrive in cinemas before the summer. Sony have already moved their Jared Leto Marvel movie Morbius to October from March.

Indiana Jones fans have long awaited the next step on the franchise’s journey. Harrison Ford has starred in all four of the films so far, from Raiders of the Lost Ark to The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which was released in 2008. A fifth Indiana Jones film was announced to be in production in 2020, with Lucasfilm apparently taking on the story once again. What’s more, Ford has apparently signed up to continue the journey of his his iconic character once again - but since then no new information has been released.
