FIFE Chamber of Commerce has called for the relationship between businesses and politicians to be reset ahead of the Holyrood election. The voice of Fife businesses has stressed Scottish Parliamentarians need to understand and support the value and importance of business in an action plan titled Rally for Growth as voters go out to the polls tomorrow (Thursday). The report is aimed at offering future MSPs a blueprint for economic recovery in the wake of the damage caused by the coronavirus and the impact of leaving the European Union. It asks Scottish Ministers to pass a Business Growth Act within the first 100 days of government which acts on the most urgent issues facing businesses right now, such as reducing upfront business costs, boosting international trade, upskilling the workforce, major digital and infrastructure investment, faster action around renewable energies and redesigning our cities.
