Art Gathering upcoming in Canton

CANTON The Fulton County Arts is hosting its first Art Gathering Saturday, July 31, 4 to 9 p.m. at Big Creek Park in Canton. More than 15 artists will be set up at the park.
A kid’s hour will take place 4 to 5 p.m. under the pavilion with Canton IL Rocks providing a craft. A Drum Circle will be from 5 to 6 p.m. as well.
The Art Gathering will also feature live music from Orbit, Ambient Music Group, 6 to 7 p.m. and Formerly The Fox, 7 to 9 p.m.
A bounce house will be available for kids and food will also be available for purchase, all located by the pavilion.

Williamsâ appointment, which will begin Aug. 1, marks the official re-opening and launch of the historic venueâs sixth season.

Soon after, Williams moved to New Orleans to play a significant role in the music industry as a studio cellist and artist manager for several jazz, blues and world music artists.
