WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - YWCA Lower Cape Fear is hosting its Stand Against Racism: Addressing Racism as a Public Health Crisis event Thursday, April 22.
The virtual event will begin at 6 p.m. at https://standagainstracism.swell.gives/

The event is free to the community.
“In this virtual event, our featured speaker, Elizabeth Barfield-Forte, Health Equity Specialist, New Hanover Regional Medical Center, and panel of community leaders will address how we can implement public health practices to effectively identify and address racial injustice in our communities,” the YWCA Lower Cape Fear said in a new release.
