Published on: Apr 9, 2021, 6:19 AM Coldwater, MS – Memphis rapper Big Boogie — real name John Lotts — was reportedly arrested on Thursday afternoon (April 8) following a shooting in Coldwater, Mississippi. According to WMC Action News 5, officers found one person with a gunshot wound on the side of Interstate 55 after the Senatobia Police Department received a call just before 1 p.m. The victim apparently told police multiple suspects continued driving south, with law enforcement agencies then tracking vehicles to the Highway 6 exit at Batesville and taking 21 people into custody while seizing four vehicles. Officers found a firearm, drugs and cash at the Senatobia crime scene and arrested three others, bringing the total to 24 arrests.
