The sidewalk project will get more than $300,000, while $150,000 will go to Morrisville to help with signals around Trenton Avenue.
YARDLEY, PA — Yardley Borough will be getting more than $300,000 from the state to help finish the sidewalk project on Main Street.
State Sen. Steve Santarsiero and state Rep. Perry Warren, who represent Yardley, announced Friday that the borough will be getting $312,147 in state funding for the project. The money will be a grant from Pennsylvania's Department of Community and Economic Development.
The grant will pay for about 1,200 linear feet of concrete sidewalk along the northern side of North Main Street, the lawmakers said. The project also will include stormwater and other pedestrian improvements.
