On Saturday, June 5, anyone can fish in Wyoming (with the exception of national parks and the Wind River Reservation) without a license, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department said Monday. “Free Fishing Day is a great time to kick off summer fishing or take up fishing as a new hobby,” Game and Fish Chief of Fisheries Alan Osterland said “If you need some tips to start off, head to the Game and Fish Youtube page for how-to videos.” There are also ten fishing events for kids and families being planned starting on Free Fishing Day. People can check out these events in communities around the state:
