coming to minneapolis from philly for the super bowl you will be impressed with the setup here. just bring your longjohns. bring your hand warmers and, yeah, bring your skis. take look at video we shot from the nfl live experience. it is cold. but there are warming shelters most of the downtown has been transformed into this fan friendly event with free concerts, tons of ice sculptures and, yes, those much needed warming houses. they are in every block. keep in mind it is now about 19 degrees when sunday comes around for the super bowl, it is forecasted to be about 5 degrees as the high. so be lucky you're back in philadelphia. but in terms of fun, this is pretty awesome. something you would not see anywhere else just a little taste of the super bowl fan experience. iain? >> all game. commissioner ross says philadelphia police are going to send out a big force of officers to try and keep the peace if the eagles win sunday. he says that will include state police. it will be much larger force than what we saw after the big win in the nfc championship game against -- the vikings. he's encouraging drivers to stay out of center city and the frankford and cottman area after the game. >> we will be ready. were will be out there with a sizeable contingent of officers that will be seen by most and we will make every effort to know that, you know, we are about business but we're gusting close to 40 miles an hour. main making it feel like it's winter. take look at these wind chills. 13 in the poconos. one it in philadelphia. 17 in millville and it will be a cold start to it's safe to say six more weeks of winter, iain. >> i think you're right, kathy. thank you. happening now a philadelphia man is in custody in a double murder in the city's oxford circle neighborhood. philadelphia police say a 911 call brought them to 1234 greeby just after 11:00 monday night when they got there they found a 66-year-old adelaide hill dead in a wheelchair on the first floor and her 42-year-old daughter renee' cossum lying dead on a second floor hallway. both had been shot in the head. her 39-year-old boyfriend who lives with the woman answered úhe is now in police custody. the investigation is still very early in its stages went still have a lot more work to do before we can go further but at this point appears that the 39-year-old is who we're looking for. >> you believe he was the shooter? >> that's what our investigation has us believing at this point and that's what all the signs point to. >> we're all dash gum crazy today. that's what i'm saying. >> reporter: this kind of violence doesn't surprise you. >> when i grew up you can walk the streets any time of the day or night and nothing happened. >> reporter: police have not release the the name of the boyfriend since he hasn't been formally charge. handgun was recovered at the scene. in philadelphia's powell town neighborhood a drexel student says she woke up and found a stranger on top of her bed. police released surveillance of the man they believe entered her apartment saturday morning, walked into her room and then sexually assaulted her. the woman says h fell asleep and she escaped and called police. by the time police got there the guy had taken off. if you know anything about this, please give police a call. in northampton county a police standoff ended with nobody hurt it began this morning around thee at a home in the 2200 block of dale drive in bethlehem township. a woman says her husband had fired a gun at her soon thereafter police got her another person and two children out of that home at about nine hours after it all started police arrested the man who was still around noon. he's facing various charges including attempted murder. majority of beach homes down the shore are empty this time of year, of course, and police say one man used that to his advantage. fox 29's jeff cole with the story from north wildwood. >> reporter: the long, cold winter months in north wildwood, new jersey, make this a quiet, almost abandoned place perfect say police for a burglar who set up cushy living in a beach home property down here. the mat at the front door of this ocean of a beach home in north wildwood reads, welcome. owner kell martone is rethinking that. >> it had been broken to and somebody living there for the last ten days using our food, using our shower, sleeping in my bedroom. >> reporter: that's the stunning news martone a south jersey attorney got from north wildwood police. the squatter peter viselli had made himself at home say investigators using the two floor family owned beach proper as face for an alleged off season crime spree. viselli 35 of somers point allegedly used a kitchen utensil as a tool of crime. >> he makes pancakes with a spatula in your place. >> he does and use the spatula to break into other homes. >> he did apparently. we still don't know how he got in our house. >> reporter: investigatorring a string of burglars in the vacant beach properties police say they obtained security camera video depicting viselli who they knew. they tracked him to martone's place and arrested him. martone says she plans to toss the sheets and household items viselli used and is glad her family had not stopped by for a winter visit. >> more than anything happy i guess no one in our house there. none of us showed up while he was leaving g living there. that my weren't there. >> reporter: police say viselli is wanted in five other pennsylvania and new jersey commune for alleged creams crimes much he's receiving mel treatment to date. that's why many offices now have surgical masks for folks waiting to seat doctor. >> we have had patients in the waiting room with other, say, an injured ankle or something that are concerned that somebody is coughing next to them and they don't want to get sick. >> reporter: while there are lots of viruses going around, the flu comes on fast and hard. fox 29's dr. mike cirigliano says as long as you have a fever and are coughing and sneezing you are contagious and a threat to others even if you're taking medicine like tamiflu. >> you need to take time to rest and more importantly you need to take time so that you don't infect co-workers especially when it's cold outside and everyone is indoors. it's em per rah tiff that you stay home. >> reporter: the family tells me jenny did test positive for the flu and has already started on tamiflu. the family pediatrician has told the could couple to keep a watchful eye on their baby girl as the very young and very old are most at
