the four young men dinardo accused of slaughtering in his father's bucks county corn field in july. also in court, dinardo's cousin sean kratz accused of in three of the murders. kratz pleaded not guilty and may face the death penalty. dinardo has admitted to the killings but must stick to his story up to his trial date or the da says he'll seek the ultimate penalty. >> if we uncover additional news. >> thanks jeff. investigators have now zeroed in on what started a fire in montgomery county that killed two little boys. the pennsylvania state police fire marshal says a faulty extension cord plugged into a space heater started it. intense flames swept through the lukens home on submit avenue early yesterday morning. brian lukens montgomery county deputy sheriff he managed to get out with his wife and nine-year-old daughter sophie. he tried to rescue 11-year-old brian, jr., and six-year-old parker but he could not get to them. they were trapped inside their second floor bedroom. their mom, dad and sister are still recovering in the hospital. as you can imagine, their need is great and so tonight firefighters are accepting donations for the family at the former schwenksville fire company. that's on main street. it's from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. right now police in upper darby still searching for 75-year-old missing man. francisco martinez has dementia. the last time his wife saw him was around midnight the night before last on prof den road. his family says he took off without a coat only wearing his pajamas. police say martinez likes to walk along oak avenue and drop in on the public restaurants, what can be sold at these stores. the original bill did in fact demand that bullet proof glass separating merchant from customer be removed. as amended the bill now merely says the city's department of licenses and sessions has three years to make rules for the use or removal of the barriers. city councilman david oh said even that went too far endangering store owners. >> if we take down the safety glass, they're not changing their business model. they're not moving. what they will do is purchase firearms. i think that is a worse situation than what we have today. >> reporter: but the bill's sponsor cindy bass railed against stores that she says for years have sold beer and shots of liquor, loose cigarettes and drug paraphernalia to customers drunk and stoned that slammed into another car around 12:30am yesterday at the intersection of torresdale and distance street in tacony. the car that hit -- the car the car roll la hit sailed through the fence. police say the driver and passenger in that corolla got out and ran off. the impact of the original crash ejected a 30-year-old man in the back seat of that car and he later died at the hospital. omarosa out in south philadelphia, police are searching for this man. they say he stole another guy's wallet out of the locker at the sweat gym on the 700 block of east passyunk avenue around two weeks ago. surveillance cameras at the footer rei on south tenth street captured him using the victim's credit card to buy stuff. tension is growing in st. louis suburb a man who police say shot two officers is barricaded in a home. this happened hours ago. two police officers ended up shot this morning in bell fontaine neighbors north of downtown st. louis. the bullet bullets hit in their. they had bullet proof vests on. they're alive tonight. the officers went to the home after someone called 99 about shots fired w they got there they got into struggle with a guy. police say he pull out handgun shot block of sugar plum court in april. today marks five years since a horrific shooting at an elementary school. it was december 14th, 2012. a seemingly normal day that turned to horror when gunman adam my nephews, and one them was my brother. one of my nephews was decapitated report roar the discussion often comes down to doing what one side think social security right versus doing what the government says is legal. today in north philadelphia, a family faced that conflict. >> advocate long stood at this place for justice, for equality and for human rights. and it seems quite fitting that we continue that tradition. >> reporter: carmella has been in our area two years while her case was considered when she received notice her asylum was denied and she would be deport deported, local church couldn't let that happen. >> she's a warm compassionate woman. she loves her children fiercely. and i can only imagine if i were in the same situation, i would want somebody to work with me and to help me. ♪ >> reporter: the help given was to publicly offer sanctuary to carmella and her kids they'll live in an app in the church with the support of the congregation had knows that they welcomed in someone facing deportation but also someone whose life is likely in danger if she returns to mexico. >> i did not see any other options except to open the door to receive her and her family. >> reporter: carmella wears an ankle monitor show immigration knows where she is at all times. >> ♪ >> reporter: this is a public statement that carmella and the congregation are opposing family to help them get through this tragedy. we're here at the 300 main street in schwenksville, 11-year-old brian lukens, jr. and his six-year-old brother parker died when their home caught fire on submit of a wednesday morning. their father montgomery county sheriff's deputy brian lukens, sr. was able to get out the home with his wife and daughter but they were tragically tragically unable to
