live i sent out a tweet what's going on in old city but the roads are snow cover. the sidewalks are and it's pretty slippery out there. the temperature is 27. winds are out of the south at just seven of the wind chill is 19 degrees. when you look at the temperatures in the poconos it's 14. 27 in physical. 28 in millville and 24 in trenton. winds gusting gusting to 20 wilmington and 22 in millville these winds will slowly subside as our storm system moves away but look at the wind chills. it folic three in the poconos. 19 in philadelphia. and 22 in pottstown. but it shoo you are is a pretty peaceful snow out there tonight. ultimate doppler showing a lot of this rotating tour the northeast. you see it's ending in delaware already. but there's another little piece coming across the chesapeake bay that will be moving through. another patch of snow out west that will be moving into our northern and western suburbs by tomorrow morning. so we'll talk more about that but you can see that heavier lavender color that's where we have some of the heaviest snow right now moving pretty much threw philadelphia and to the south and east. we have that wint weather advisory through tomorrow morning for one to 2-inches of snow. some spots could see up to 3-inches of snow in that persistent banding. take look at the fox future cast. we'll watch through the overnight the snow moves toward the north and east by 2am still some snow showers through bucks county, through trenton mercer county and into the lehigh valley then that moves out. and then here through the lehigh valley to the north and west i'm watching this patch of snow possibly moving across the same area by 7am. so up the northeast extension toward allentown and lehigh tunnel you could have some snow even during the 7:00 o'clock hour but eight 9:00 o'clock the outta here and then we're just seeing a partly cloudy sky and cold temperatures. but any surface that has not been treated obviously will be snow toward covered and slick. overnight tonight one to 2-inches. through most of the area. of course, as you get little bit closer to the shore a coat to go one. overnight temperatures in the 20s in the poconos in the teens. tomorrow we'll start off in the upper 30s. but then temperatures will be falling through the day. you'll see temperatures also responding to those winds so we will be talking covered for any school delays. >> which is very possible. >> thank you very much kathy. >> you bet. >> kristen we're still talking carson aren't we. >> yes we are lucy. carson wentz may be out for the season but i don't think that means esche be out of the mvp race. my case for why he shoul >> earlier this season i stood here and said carson wentz was going to be named mvp. then he tore his acl even though he's on the injured reserve list out for the rest of the is that i still think carson james wentz should be considered for this year's mvp. here's why. first of all carson got the eagles to where they needed to go. he clinched nfc east for the birds sending them to the playoffs. eagles have that locked um even though he's on the side lines. second he's still leads the nf will. in touchdowns. he's thrown 33 passes this season closest behind him russ russell wilson with just 29. let's take look who else is in the running right now. there's the tom brady russell wilson antonio brown and ben roethlisberger a lot of these guys put together good seasons but they've also had bad games. brady threw two interceptions against the dolphins. they lost that game. wilson had three in seattle's loss to jacksonville. carson was even keeled before going down. he may be off the field but he shouldn't be off the table. when it comes to voting. he definitely deserves the nod. lucy. >> there you go. pup going from the doghouse at the jailhouse kind of. adorable pooch faces accusations of slaughtering a family's christmas decorations. puppy eyes did not help out for josey after tearing apart a stuffed elf crime committed by the way. the san juan can county sheriff's home in new mexico she's on house arrest except for her walks and her jail pinstripes. >> that's amazeing. >> speaking of amazing. ben franklin parkway. >> it is coming down. >> kathy orr. >> the city had a rule a couple years ago that they didn't plow if it was less than 2-inches. are he been that? >> so we'll see if that's still the case. >> it could be 3-inches you said said. >> yeah. so we'll see. >> all right. we'll see what happens. the city i think will get one to 2-inches. it's ending in delaware. take a look. ultimate doppler and the know is going to be out there through the early morning hours. it should be out most of the area by dawn. >> 4am "good day philade >> here we go, great to have you with us this morning live look along the parkway happening right now all across the delaware valley, bitter blast, snow falling overnight of course making for a slow start this morning. >> so we've got crews all over taking pretty picture right there. we'll show you pictures from where ever you live all over the delaware valley morning. good morning thanks for joining us as we wake up early, not even 4:00 a.m. >> lots to talk about. good morning karen bob scott, good morning, it is a beautiful site driving around, maybe little tricky this morning. >> definitely going to be tricky. it is just enough to make it tricky but not enough to give anybody a day off. >> let's check on the roads in a minute. >> yes, we talk about that snow coming in last night certainly it did. it came in pretty rapidly as well. take a live look at ultimate doppler showing you the bulk of the snow fell between ten p.m. and 1:00 a.m. you can see most of it has ended across the region, we still have some light snow to get through off to the north and west, so we will be watching that throughout the morning time frame. but those temperatures, they're still cold. many locations are still below freezing. so icy patches on those roadways and also, we are looking at some light flu that's will continue to move through the delaware valley. early on this thursday morning, so, allow extra travel time, winter weather advisories are still in effect and looking at some problems on those roadways. so as far as what's been happening, you can see that most of the heavy snow fell overnight. but north and west, lehigh valley poconos still looking at some of the light snow, off to the western part of the state, you can see that will rotate through specially north and west. so in purple those are the winter weather advisory, until 10:00 a.m. that does include the philadelphia area. but look at the temperatures, it is cold, in the 20's, north and west, we have upper 20's to low 30's in south jersey, delaware waking up to temperatures upper 20's and low 30's, so slick roads icy patches out there. a few additional light flurries there could be an additional coating but most of the accumulation has already occurred. so cents as we go hour by hour 5:00 a.m. north and west, lehigh valley, the northeast extension, still looking at some light flurries, into the pocono mountains by 6:00 a.m. 7:00 a.m., it is out of here, actual will he see sunshine later on in the day. so temperatures will top out in the upper 30's for philadelphia. low 40's, bob kelly, down the shore. >> sounds good, scotty, thanks for the update. tick-tock 4:00. it will be tricky this morning, all about the location as he just showed us more north and west the city you go. see the snow. now the major roadways are in good shape. they were treated yesterday with the brine and of course, some volume on the overnight. it is getting to the major roadways we'll have the problem. first accident,
