the boys father mother and sister are still in the hospital. as investigators try to figure out what went wrong. let's get out to jeff cole who's life in schwenksville for us tonight. jeff? >> reporter: iain, a make shift memorial is rising outside of the dark and blackened lukens family home. early morning fire likely powered by heavy winds has claimed the lives of young lukens boys. just after 5:00 on a blustery morning flames and smoke can be seen rising from the summit of a two-story home. fire crews arrived to find brian lukens, his wife tracy and nine-year-old daughter sophia out of the home. but sons brian, jr., 11 and parker six remain inside where they perish. >> you know he did everything he possibly could to get his boys out of the home. so it's just absolutely tragic and i can't imagine the pain. >> reporter: by daylight state and local fire investigators were inside and out of the wooden structure built in 1960. brian lukens a deputy montgomery county sheriff bought his family home six years ago. >> unfortunately, there were two juvenile males that were located on the second floor deceased. the cause of this fire is unknown at this time. >> reporter: dave about man who help the lukens roof their house woke up to the tragedy. >> i seen flashing. i thought it was like an ambulance out here or something. and it wasn't an ambulance. that place was on fire. i heard a couple of explosions. >> reporter: by midday investigators were seen handling scorched wire and set aside blackened portable heater while rivals were taken from a locker kyle bolder had seen brian, jr. on field trip here on the right just last week. >> what are you telling your boys? >> you know, we gave them a big hug this morning. my wife broke the news to my s son. and he broke down immediately. >> reporter: brian lukens, czar veteran of the iraq war has been treated for burns. he has survived. his wife has survived as his their nine-year-old daughter. friends have set up a gofundme account for the stricken family. live in schwenksville, montgomery county, i'm jeff cole, fox 29 news. folks? >> all right, jeff, thanks. we are getting a statement now from the school the two boys attended it reads in part "the perkiomen valley school district community was deeply saddened to learn this morning about the death of two schwenksville element row school students from a house fire". grief counselor are on hand for students. tonight philadelphia police are trying to track down two people wanted for a deadly hit-and-run in tacony. police say the driver of a toyota car role la slammed into another car overnight at distant and torresdale. the impact launched a passenger in that car 30 feet into the a air. the 33-year-old died. two other passengers in the same car have minor injuries. the driver and passenger in the first car raced a way from the scene. east stroudsburg these three face murder charges accused of killing a delivery driver on the job. on monday right around 1:00 a.m. the victim 58-year-old richard la bar was delivering pizza and cinnamon sticks. police say the whole thing was a setup. investigators say these 330-year-old caroline carmona, 21 yeared valider roberts and 17-year-old israel bar rows shot and robbed them. all three face charges as adul adults. surprising good news in the wake of that sunday night crash in delaware county that injured four nuns. fox 29 has learned that two of the four injured women are already out of the hospital which is hard to believe when you see the crash itself. it's just horrific. our bruce gordon joins us after meeting with the nuns provincial superior, bruce. >> reporter: that's right, lucy she's in town from suburban chicago to pay visit to the injured nuns, ton provide us with the first real update on the crash victims. that update may leave you stunned and just may be inspire. sister barbara jean looks at this mangled buick and expresses gratitude. >> it's almost like god's hand was there. >> extreme gratitude. >> because when you look the the pictures of the car, i think it's a miracle that these sisters escaped with their lives. >> reporter: four nuns all sisters of the holy family of nazareth returning to northeast philly from longwood gardens when their car was rapid head on by a vehicle that crossed the double yellow lines on route 322 in bethel township delaware county all four nuns plus that other driver were trapped in their cars for half an hour while emergency responders worked to free them. >> for the first two days it was touch and go. not knowing how severe those injuries were. >> reporter: sister barbara jean paid a hospital visit tuesday and says despite cuts, bruises and broken bones -- >> they told me they're really doing better every day. their injuries are not life threatening. we are so grateful. >> reporter: at this pope expectation of a full recovery? >> absolutely not. he has a coffee shop in south philadelphia probably 90% of the people who come into the coffee shop are immigrants. >> reporter: but one facebook post put it, being an immigrant does not excuse from you being offensive and racist. his response is, come on in. >> everybody is welcome here. everybody is going to come over here. they're going to get to know me and fall in love with the place and come here every day. >> reporter: but until then as this passerby puts it -- >> it's 2017 everything is a controversy. >> reporter: there's no official openin opening date fos restaurant yet but they're hoping to start serving food before the end of the year. on broad street, brad sattin, fox 29 news. ♪ let's check on your fox 29 weather authority now. look at freezing wilmington, delaware, if that bitterly cold tepp hers aren't enough, snow is on the way as kathy breaks it all down in just 15 seconds. what week. first we have brutally cold wind chills now we're talking about cold temperatures and really like a pack powder snow coming in. it's all about the timing with this particular event. the temperatures 28. the wind chill is 17. if you're going out tonight, layer up. it doesn't take much wind to drive those wind chills down. feels like 23 in pottstown. 19 in wilmington and millville. 15 in reading. and it feels like four in the poconos. here's a look at the winds gusting to about 40 miles an hour earlier in philadelphia right now gusting to 20. so not as bad. here's our clipper. our clipper is coming from canada, of course, and clipper meaning very fast-moving low pressure system. it will pass to the south and we're going to see some snow. rule of thumb in meteorology across pennsylvania and heading into philadelphia bring us about a coating to couple inches of snow. occasionally they can bring isolated higher accumulations. now as we go hour by hour, with this, you can see the clouds roll in and by 10:00 o'clock it's snowing everywhere but trenton. and then this is going to pivot, going to swing through norristown, trenton, allentown the poconos by about midnight, 1:00 a.m. then it's pretty much out of here by 7:00 a.m. but it's going to be so cold that everything is going to stick on any type of untreated surface. so please be aware of that. we know the buses have to be brushed off in the morning. the cars do. so it will be a slow go for your morning rush. as we look ahead to the accumulation a coating to an inch through south jersey and delaware. philadelphia to the north and west. one to 2-inches in some spots i think we could be seeing some higher accumulations. up to 3-inches perhaps in the hillier terrain of bucks county. let's take look at the advisory. we do have winter weather advisory for one to 2-inches of snow in that area to the north and west of philadelphia. including philadelphia county and this goes through tomorrow morning even though i think by sunrise everything will be out of here. take look at the temperatures overnight. 14 in the poconos. 24 in allentown. 28 in philadelphia. millville 24. the last time it snowed, temperatures were in the 30s. so it was that wet snow but with temperatures in the 20s, it's going to be definitely powdery and easy to brush off the car. you can almost below the snow off the car. 38 degrees tomorrow. but falling throughout the day with a northwesterly wind at about ten to 15. that will keep the little bit chill in the air as well. a chance of afternoon snow showers for friday. it's like the snow that wouldn't end. saturday 38. sunday rain for a change. rain or wet snow for your monday. especially in the morning and then tuesday is quiet and pleasant and wednesday looking good. remember we start tomorrow morning at 4:00 a.m. "good day philadelphia" we'll have the very latest we have bob kelly, we have scott williams. they've got you covered for the am. kristen, are you ready for the snow?
