The mans head was smashed against the side after house on the 4200 block of logger street. One woman found him, and stayed with him, until help arrived, but cullen did not survive. Reporter good morning, yes, one thing have training, something tolls have repercussions if someone is accused of sexual harrassment. As is the case with two current members of congress, senator al franken, michigan congressman, john conyers and then of course roy moore running for the senate seat down in alabama facing number of allegations. So, you know, while we are in the midst of what many have called this reckoning, about sexual harrassment and Sexual Misconduct, the Congress Still kind of remains its own little carve out. It is clear members of congress are treated differently than many other folks, in terms of what standard theyre really held to. So what exactly are the new rules . Whats going to change here, doug . Well, these would be the kind of sexual harrassment training, seminars, folks go through, we go through them here periodically, where a lot of companies are doing this, you know, mandating this casino every training, and awareness, so on. This will now become part of congress. Some members of congress, and their staff, will have to go through this, there are still some other issues out there, though, including, you know, this kind of slush funds, that was used to essentially pay off some of those who have accused members of congress of Sexual Misconduct. And in return for these payments, a lot of these individuals agree to kind of go away quietly, and not talk about what had happened. So, now, there is this effort to bring this out into the open. And say that, you know, if taxpayer funds are used we need to know exactly what these allegations were, and what actually transpired with these members of congress. We dont have that level of transparency at this point. Long, long overdue, all of those changes. A lot of attention, it has been brought to this issue, rightfully so, congress, also, they have a long list comedies, and up against a deadline here before the break. What do we stand on some of the important issues real quick . Yes, some of these deadlines are selfimposed. You have republians trying to get through tax cuts by the end of the year. If they dont reach that deadline could try to take it up next year. Other issues, you know, firmer deadlines including the government running out every funds on i believe it is december 8th. Unless there is some kind of stopgap spending measure right now it doesnt look like that will happen. If it doesnt. We are looking at a potential government shutdown. Before the end of the year.
