that's the thing i try and say every year. we don't just do this on thanksgiving. you bring any roast, park, turkey, chicken, duck, we will bake anything as long as it is in a pan, we throw it in the brick oven, so much better than your traditional oven. >> because i asked, you know, i asked thomas i asked joe, you know, what does it taste like? and what you described it, pretty mouth watering. it sounds like you have to at least try it once, right? >> so the way this oven works is the heat radiates among the bricks, the dome shape in the oven, and it keeps the moist in the roast. so you put it in your regular oven, you take it out, it is dry, you know, nothing you can do about that, because that's the way it is. but in this oven, it keeps it nice and moist it, makes a nice juice, and you can taste, like, when you make stuff on your grill, you can taste the difference in the brick. >> so i have a question. >> that sounds amazing. >> only because i want to try it when we get off work here, what time does the turkey go in the oven? >> first turkey goes in at 7:00 but you have to be here way sooner than that. >> yes, i get here usually on average day, i get here 1:00 a.m. but today that's the reality how i actually felt this morning around 1:00 a.m. i initially put it in the oven at 450. then changed the temperature down to 220, to slow roast it throughout the night. so the birds is unattended at this hour. we'll see how it does throughout the morning. should be fine. you know, for years, major retail verse been bragging about opening up thanksgiving day all to get you inside for that "black friday" rush. but, may not be the case this year, lowe's among mother than zero seven retailers will close their doors this turkey day giving workers time to spends with their families. and it turns out, most shoppers will stay home anyway. survey from best "black friday." com shows just 16% of people do their in-store shopping, in-store shopping on thanksgiving, 58% say stores shouldn't open at all. >> as for stores that are opening this thanksgiving, bass pro shops opens 8:00 this morning and closes 6:00 p.m. big lots open from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and k-mart and wal-mart opening early six a.m. and staying open until midnight. >> if you don't want to wait to start shopping, the delaware valley's oldest and largest flea market will be open all day, in new then to the left there is another line. nutter to the left yet another line. why is everybody coming here? even though they don't open until 7:00? these are the sellers and this place is massive, i can't even show it to you in the dark. greg will show across here they have the un hang with the wooden tables set up. if you look through there, you see the lights it, goes like three football fields away, and among the sellers jean coon from southampton. boy, this is a tradition on thanksgiving. so what better way to shop and get in the holiday spirit than shopping in the 20 agree temperatures out here in the middle of burlington count. >> i it is called layers, that's why we have all of these layers on. >> why here? what's the secret of getting this early, why would you come here this early as a seller? >> as a searle, the reason why you want to come early you can get a better spot. so the earlier you get here, the better spot you get. >> what's the key to the spot? like what's a good spot? somewhere where all of the people will see you? >> right. basically the corner, corners are the best, or closer to, like, they have like this is more considered more the new err section, but it does have some older antique stuff. but down in the bottom fence, down to your left, they have -- that's where all of the antique and all of the re-sell ers are at, where you can find like that vintage product that you are ooh he ' looking for or maybe antique product or furniture or whatever. one every a kind christmases gift, looking for that one after kinds christmas gift, this is the place to come. >> you can get everything for everybody in one stop on one day, and then you don't even have to deal with "black friday." where can you get all of your shopping done even before "black friday," right? >> definitely here at the market. definitely here. >> and how many people have no idea, like bigger than an eagles football game. talking like 100,000 people maybe at a certain point during the day? >> i have no clue. i just know there is a lot of people that come here, a lot of vendors and a lot of people. and usually you can't even walk through inbetween the tables, you can't walk through the aisles because there are so many people on thanksgiving. i mean, it is a great experience to be honest. >> now, what are you going to be selling if people want to see you if, first of all, they have to find in you this thing? i'm looking at people pulling trailer in here as we talk, what are you selling today? >> i have a lot of vintage stuff, vintage dishes, and vintage or pre 1980s cookie jars or like if you are looking for pie recommendation, you know, just basically different, just different little nicknacks people may want. >> new stuff too. not just all used and antiques. >> like brand new stuff just like you would get at a mall. >> correct, there is new stuff, even people thal have flowers, and then there is people that have -- looking for brand new pairs of socks, hey, this is the place to come. because you can get the bargains at. >> so and i asked earlier, so after you're done selling you think by 3:00 you'll get out of here hopefully with a good day, no plans for dinner just plans to sleep then right? >> oh, no. then the work begins again, because then we have to -- most of the vendors here will be unloading and then reloading for possibly sunday. what police say was a drug deal gone bad. in a busy plymouth township strip mall parking lot. we told but this one yesterday morning, police found 31 year old chad canada stabbed to death ridge pike monday night. so police say 20 year old austin parkinson right here and 20 year old lana mayor met with him to buy heroin but stabbed him repeatedly took off with almost 100 packets of drug. lane and parkinson face murder, robbery, other charges. police are looking for the man responsible for robbing a local businessman in south philadelphia. police say a gunman wearing a bulletproof vest and badge approached the customer leaving whitman check cashing, pointed a gun at the suspect, grabbed the check, took and took off. moran description coming up in just a little bit. you saw the cute year, if you like the cold weather, because prior years, you can see, it has been very balmy thanksgiving. we're actually the coldest since 2014, where we're forecasting highs today, today, that will be into the middle and upper 40's. thirty-one in media this morning, 29 in allentown, so pretty cold to our northwestern suburbs in town at 33 degrees, jersey side of things, into the pine barons, 28 degrees, into milville and wildwood at 36 degrees. colder this morning, than yesterday morning. these temperatures are, again, about 20, to almost 30 degrees colder when waking up yesterday morning at 4:00 a.m. otherwise, looking at clear skies, ultimate doppler, nothing going on, just clear& board as go all the way toward the west. there is just no travel delays. little area of low pressure trying to spin up around tampa. so if you do have some flight down across tampa, jacksonville, you might have some issues there. but otherwise, just nothing major in the way of precipitation that could impact your travels. it is all about temperature forecasting, where it is into the 30's, 20's, as go out toward the ohio valley and midwest. snow is nice cool shot of air that is on top of us for the next couple every days. so, high temperatures today into the middle and upper 30's, to low 40's, in town. tonight is another cold night. twenty's, 30's, moonlit skies. by friday, for "black friday" shoppers, this is great weather. cold in the morning. milder in the afternoon with temperatures that will b into the low 50's, so 45 in town, 30's for the outer suburbs for today, tonight colder, mostly clear skies, upper 20's, low 30's, look at the seven day boards, we show chilly day today. tomorrow's not bad. pretty seasonable around 53 degrees, but the clouds build back in saturday. i'll keep the rainout of the forecast but we were watching system little too close for comfort. i'll keep the clouds in play, not going to call precipitation for the weekends, but by sunday, that's more important, because the gusty winds are going to come into play, 30, 40-mile per hour winds possible, with temperature of around 50 degrees. let's take a look at traffic this morning, we start you out the columbus market is a thanksgiving tradition, why are all of these people in line? every which way you look, including the guy coming at us with a vehicle loaded, there are trailers, people renting u hauls, and what it is, new and used stuff, antiques, flea market, indoor market, look at that truck. that's loaded to the gills. you can get anything and everything here. and beyond that truck, even in the dark, with the spotlight, you can see, how many vendors are already here, and it is all about getting the spot, we talked to few vendors already, here's the first man we met this morning, at 3:30 a.m. >> how big is thanksgiving at the columbus market? >> very big. this is the day to come. >> how many people do you think come here every year? >> i have no idea. but i tell you, when you come here on sundays, you can't even find a spot. and then the lots are full. it is just a lot of people. >> and thanksgiving is even bigger than a typical sunday? >> it is the biggest probably of the year, a sunday, because this is the day to come. >> and you can get anything and everything? >> whatever you want to think of getting, you come here, somebody's got it for sale. new or used. >> you could do all your christmas shopping in one stop in one day? >> more likely, yes, if you really wanted to. >> so already, this is like being at an eagles game at noontime minus the beer. i haven't found any beer yet. and not the smell of beer in the air, but the size of the crowd, already marching what you'll see at a football game. and i think we have just stumbled upon a new good day philadelphia thanksgiving day tradition, to be here, because they're up as early as we are we found out this morning. thomas, i'll bring little personal story here for you. you were asking me about where this was. you know more than anybody where this is because little tommy drayton grew up nearby, because his father was one of our great veterans in the military at the base nearby. so thomas, feel free to talk about your childhood memories every growing up nearby here, by the military base, because we salute your father being a great man. >> fort dix, new jersey, yes, burlington county, went to pemberton. actually it was marcus newcomb middle school. and the principal, he just retired, but he was there about -- his name was frank miller. and he was up there until about two years ago. and i went out there and visited the school and the teachers. such a great experience living on the base and then we travel every two, three years, but this was the longest we ever grew up in one particular place was fort dix new jersey. so i know that area very well. great people out there. >> you are proof the principals and the teach kearse turn out a pretty good kid. >> yes, that's why i forecast 45 degrees, one of the colds he is we've had in a kim of years, northwest breeze coming in at five to ten. now for tomorrow, good deals if you are shopping, good deal weather wise. we're week. thomas? >> we will call it dessert, appreciate the treat, mike. a new jersey woman who was helped by homeless man when she ran out of gas in philadelphia has raised more than $111,000 to help him out. kate mcclure started got funds me. com campaign after she ran out of gas, a homeless man, his name is johnny, he offered to walk few blocks to buy her some gas with his last $20. well, kate says she didn't have any money to repay him at the time but returned to the roadway several times to give him cash, clothes, and food. after a few visits, she started the fundraiser with the hopes of using the money toward housing and other expenses. so, it is now up to $111,000. she hopes that it will certainly help the 34 year old out. >> buy a pie, feed a family, not just any family, family struggling with a life threatening illness, man a's pie in the pie fundraise is her about, so many of you bought a pie, provided thanksgiving day dinners to those families. as little incentive here,
