how do you fine the needy families? and how can people put a name in the basket in the future? >> what's important about this, it is real apart nerve ship, the family, get all of their vendors together, all of their figuring, go out and raise money from other people in the community, individuals, businesses, churches, and then we work through over 100 community organizations, actually have an opportunity to say these are the people in our community really in need. so that's a terrific partnership, i love it when people say what's a public partnership. >> this turkey basket program is and for 36 years we've been doing it. >> charmaine, you brought up good point. there are always extra people, extra families in need. you can't serve everyone. how do you pick and choose? >> that's why we work through the hundred community groups, because they ultimately are working in those communities all year long. they know where all of the resources are, and this is something that get added to their resource list. so they may have couple of extra places where they're getting some turkeys. so if you're really in need, reach out to your local community group. they're there, not only on thanksgiving, but every day of the year to work with you. >> happening this saturday whether volunteers can get together, put the baskets together. tell me more. what do people need to know about volunteering. >> interested to volunteer we'll be at the shoprite of oregon avenue south philly operated by the brown family. we will be coming together. we will put together 2,000 baskets and probably about a two hour time period. >> beginning?
