Theyre not dressed for this weather. He thinks that may try to break into homes, cars, encounter people to try to get clothes to stay bathroom or over power someone else to take a car. Thats the concern of course because they are juveniles, we cant get their name. Cant get the charges of why they were in that facility but he says that at this point, he considers them to be extremely dangerous. I did ask about the guards, two of them overpowered, one of them had to be hospitalized. The other he says is okay. And lucky, those guards, do not have weapons at that facility, so not able to walk away from that with a weapon. We heard one or two may be captured. What did they tell you . They havent shared that information with us. They asked to you stay a bit away from where they are at this mobile command center, working together, you know, with the department of corrections, so i think theyre trying to jointly release information. Police say a man keeps approaching young women, and tries to grab them. Using the same vehicle, and steve has the description of the car. Hey, steve . This guy has struck probably dozen times, going back to september 15th, in a police report, they said a guy already wanted for previous incidents, was seen touching and expos g himself at a local hospital. Then, the same parking lot at the same hospital on october 9th. Then, yesterday, was the latest incident involves a student here atmore air yan college, just off the main street campus here, and the guy went from touching himself to touching her. Grabs her by the arm. She slugs away. He then grabs her hand, doesnt let go until she screams. Then he gets in his car and runs away, well, the same car in all of the incidents. It is a black guy, a lot of people say hes in good shape. Medium to heavy build, fiveten, but what stinks from him and everybody else running around town seems to be driving this old four door and in the earlier incidents described as blue light blue toyota corolla. Now, police are just saying, light blue used car. But this car has struck three times in the past week, at the high school, last tuesday and wednesday, then yesterday with the college girl. And he tried to get High School Girls in, the car last week, so, hes not just involving himself now, hes trying to grab somebody in the car. So it is getting more serious, more bold, and these are all happening in the daytime yesterday, ten of 10 00 at the high school last week, noontime. While philadelphia rapper, known around the world, meek mill, sits in solitary confinement in a prison, the fallout from his sentencing continues to grow. Common Pleas Court Judge janice brinkly sentenced meek mill last week to two to four years for violating his probation. Well now lawyers are asking the judge to recuse herself. Disqualify herself. Saying she acted inapropriately, and showed bias toward meek mill. There is even a report the fbis looking into whether the judge had pressured meek mill to drop his management company, his Record Management company, to sign with philadelphia based charlie mack. The chair of the pennsylvania board of pardon has also weighed in. Lieutenant governor mike stack says he cannot comment on any case that could come before the board. So whats all this mean . So meek mill, one every his attorneys, he has couple of attorneys, they want this judge to disqualify herself, and then what start over, ken, with the sentencing . Right. They want the judge to recuse herself. So good luck with that, i dont think thats going to happen. Does that ever happen . The success of that is, well, it never normally happens. I know lots of lawyers have filed such motions cents, and basically it is never granted. What theyll then do is file a motion to have her reconsider her sentencing. And again, i dont think thats going to go anywhere. I mean, wife to know that this is a steep uphill climb for meek mill. It is rare a sentence is overturned, by the superior court, but number of procedures that theyll go through, the first motion to recuse, i believe that will be denied, judge will then be given a chance to reconsider her sentence, i believe that will be denied. And then it will go to the superior court. Do you a grow . I do. You want to talk about the timing of all of this. Remember he was sentenced the two to four year sentence on november 6. You have ten days under the rules of criminal procedure to file that in the of re consideration. So tomorrow is the deadline. Tomorrow at the close of business, his sentence will effectively be etched in stone. So the motion for recusal has to happen quickly, whether she grants a hearing, whether she denies it on the papers, something has to happen. And then just like ken said, they have to file that in the of re consideration by tomorrow 5 00 which will probably be met with closed ears. What are meeks attorneys alleging that this judge has done . Lets start with trying to get herself mentioned in a music video, ken, explain that . Yes. The claim is, and we have to understanded the circumstances here, this was a conversation in her chambers in judge brinkly chambers, nicky minaj was there, and meek mill was there. He is claim that she said to him, hey, you know, you ought to do a remake of the boyz ii men song on bended knee and by the way give me a shout out when you do that. He basically said hey i dont do those types of things and she said she supposedly said suture self. Now this was not recorded. This was something that meek mill is claiming. It will be interesting. She hasnt said one way or the other, you know, when she actually said this or not. I believe she will deny t i dont think she well, she could say she is joking. I think what she will say she did it tongue and cheek, and then there is no validity. Also, alleging, that she wanted meek to leave rock nation, jayzs record company, and all of that, and go with a local company that was run by charlie mack, well known, you know, music figure herhere in philadelphia. Right. Thats what they allege . Well, you know, do you have take all of these allegations not piece by piece, but if you look at them, all context, dating back to some maybe of the inapropriate commentary back in the bench of 2016 to the present. Going back just a second, this conversation, that took place, im talking about highly, you know, questionable, to have a defendant, and his girlfriend, in your chambers, without council. So youre right. She may say it was tongue and cheek. She may say it never happened at all. But to have the defendant and his Grammy Nominated girlfriends in your chambers lend suspicious to the allegations at large. Now, we see on the highway the other day there was all of these trucks going by, then we saw buses over hereby the rounds house yesterday that had big plackards on the side of them that say, you know, stand for meek mill, free meek mill. Ken, i mean, does that ever have an influence . I dont think will have any influence at all. I mean, a lot of emotion around this case. But this is not going to be decided on a motion, it will be decided on the law. The question is did she have the authority to give him the sentence that he got . And the answer is yes. The other question s. Was she impartial and bias . And thats really the issue now, thats coming before the court. Because what theyre saying is she wasnt impartial. She wasnt un bias the. That she had bias tore hill. They claim she went down to the homeless shelter, she was businessly stalking him. I mean, they are making a lot of claims about her that i think she is going to say, you know, were not true. She is going to say that she cared about meek mill. She was basically, you know, checking up on him to making sure he was complying with his probation. In 102nd here, which is impossible, the fbis been looking into this judge for quite a while. Apparently. Why . Because of meek mill . Well, you know, her interest in him just like ken was indicating with respect to going to this probation site, all every it seems very questionable. The magic word, the magic word the fbi is looking for . Quid pro quo .
