>> this will be a big change, we could find out from mayor kenney, today. jenny, what are we talking about, the src? >> yes, mayor kensy making this announced to. he want to dissolve the src and bring back education, to local accountability, he wants it to be governed locally at 10:00 this morning, wants to make that point among other as he called for the dis solution of the school reform commission or src. the commission, five member authority, made up of mayor appointed and governor appointed members, is currently in charge of policy and financial decisions of the school district. and has been for the last 15 years. but, mayor kenney feels, that these issues should be handled locally, especially, since funding will present continued challenges. the school district project a 105 million-dollar budget deficit by 2019. which will likely lead to tough decisions, so at its next meeting the srrc will recommend to the state education secretary that it be dissolved. the secretary will then have to approve the change which would take effect later this year, mike analling. >> sounds like more interesting stuff happening on the street for our philadelphia reporters. >> 6:36. >> former south jersey police chief son the other side of the law this morning. >> frank, arrested on hate crime charges, he retired as the police chief in january, while under fbi investigation. the fbi says he slammed an african-american teenager's head into a door jam, in september of 2016 while making an arrest, they also say he repeatedly used racial slurs. federal investigators say his own officers wore a wire to get him on tape. >> when you read these allegations, and you see that his fellow officers recorded this stuff, and you're going is this the world we live in now?
